Dr. Sabin Strickland has served as the senior pastor of Pleasant Hill Church, located in the heart of Roswell, GA, since August of 1996. He grew up in Roswell across the street from Pleasant Hill Church. As a child Dr. Strickland often played church on the steps of Pleasant Hill, using sticks and rocks as his congregation.
Prior to serving as the Senior Pastor at Pleasant Hill church, he served as the interim pastor at St. John of Cleveland, GA and also spent several years as youth Pastor at Pleasant Hill.
As a firm believer that there is wisdom in knowledge, Dr. Strickland earned dual Doctoral degrees; one from Liberty University in Theology, and his second Doctorate from Fuller University in Ministry.
Dr. Strickland united in marriage with his wife Karla in 2012, and to this union have two children.
At Pleasant Hill, we offer a variety of ministries that serve people of all ages. We aim to bring you and your family closer to God by providing engaging spiritual experiences. However, it doesn’t stop there. We invite you to serve others, as well as grow in your personal spiritual walk.

Attracting new members to Pleasant Hill Church is essential to keep our congregation strong and thriving. It is a pleasure when we connect with parishioners who have become a member! Because of this, we have designed a series of mandatory classes for our 1st time members.
While faith is at the core of church community, many people choose a place of worship based on the relationships they can build and opportunities within the church. We are here to help you build those relationships.
Finding opportunities that appeal and fit the needs and lifestyle of potential newcomers is critical. Helping you navigate and nurture your path to committed service is at the core of The New Members Connection Ministry.
